Kristinia DeBarge: Carrying On Hitmaking Tradition In The Name Of Good Music

Kristinia DeBarge is not resting on her famous last name. Yes, she is a DeBarge, and like Babyface says, “when you are a DeBarge, one has to stop and listen.” But Kristinia is talented, confident, works hard and has become a hit recording artist in her own right.
Be Your Own Line Of Defense: Rip Identity Theft To Shreds
Identity theft claimed more than 10 million victims in 2008, a 22 percent increase over 2007, according to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). One way to fight fraud is to shred personal documents. The Better Business Bureau recently hosted a coast-to-coast “Secure Your ID Day,” where local bureaus provided a free shredding day to emphasize the importance of destroying documents and safeguarding personal information (bbb.org).
Gospel Vs. Inspirational: Is There A Difference?
With the longtime success of BeBe & CeCe Winans, gospel artists and industry observers see sacred music’s strong, steady appeal. In fact, the Winans’ consistent success is contributing to making the gospel recording industry a $104 million business, industry observers tell Jet. Contemporary Gospel Artists BeBe & CeCe Winans Reunite On “Still”
When you hear BeBe and CeCe Winans’ reunion CD, Still, you will be lifted and comforted, their fans say. That’s the power of gospel—the “good news” music from the Lord—and the gift of the Winans brother and sister duo. The CD, their first in 15 years, picks up where their early hits left off. It recalls the soul and rhythm of their smashes Lost Without You, Celebrate New Life and Heaven. Their cool, contemporary gospel sound has always reached listeners right where they are. And it even reaches those who might not make it to church on Sunday morning, but who, nevertheless, believe in the Word of God.
