And Now, For A Commerical Break
Obama even doled out sound advice about football. Gotta love it.

Pro football is fast coming to an end. You wait all year for the season to start and “wham!” it’s gone. Sunday and Monday Night Football is gone. The withdrawal symptoms are still kicking in. The sometimes Thursday night game was no big deal - Sunday was close at hand and you knew there were games to watch.
College football, oh man, will it ever end? They had 35 owl games, the Chittlin’ Bowl, the Hog Maw Bowl, the Collard Greens Bowl, the Mountain Oysters Bowl... man, they just keep coming. They’re still fighting about who is #1 and #2. I like Obama’s idea: have the playoff. End of confusion.
Okay, what’s left in the Pros? The Raven vs. Steelers. This is the Super Bowl. Any game in the Super Bowl will be anticlimactic after this battle. And a battle it will be. The Ravens are thugs - they play to win the game and win the fight. The Steelers are good, but the Ravens are tough. My pick, the Ravens.
The Eagles vs. the Cardinals... don’t you know eagles eat cardinals? That’s exactly what will happen when these teams meet in Phoenix. Plus the Eagles are leaving subzero Pittsburgh for 80 degree weather in Arizona - they can’t wait to get defrosted! This team is going to be so excited to be in that weather they’ll have twice the energy the Cardinals will have.
In case you didn’t know, the Giants lost. It’s what I expected. I never thought Eli Manning was a clutch player, he just had a lot of clutch players around him that made him look good. Like the famous pass he threw last year that stuck to the receiver’s helmet. Nice throw? Forget about it. Great catch! And who was MVP? Manning. Who should have got it? Strahan, no doubt. See ya Eli.
The only Manning I think is good is Peyton, but he’s out, so I guess all that’s left for these two brothers is to make a couple commercials together. Oh, and take on the Williams sisters. I look for Peyton to bounce back and be a winner next season, but Eli, no such luck.
Didn’t the football season go by quickly this year? As for college football, I’m sure they’re playing a game somewhere this weekend, but really don’t want to know where.
